Background

LavaX is an IT infrastructure, automation, and software agency targeting fast-growing businesses. As a relatively new agency, they needed a website that could hold its own against established players one that felt premium, authoritative, and immediately communicated that they build serious systems for serious companies. The brief was clear: don't look like a freelancer's side project.

The challenge

01

No visual identity to anchor the design

The design had to build a brand presence from scratch one that felt distinct enough to be memorable in a crowded IT services market.

02

Complex services, simple story

The challenge was distilling technical capability into language and visuals that decision-makers — not developers could act on immediately.

03

Building credibility without a long track record

A new agency can't rely on years of reputation. The site needed to use every available trust signal, client logos, testimonials, case previews, and process transparency to close the credibility gap fast.

04

Standing out in a generic category

Most IT agency sites look the same: stock photos, blue palettes, bullet-pointed services. LavaX needed a visual identity bold enough to signal that they operate differently without sacrificing professionalism.

The solution

01

Dark editorial aesthetic as a brand differentiator

I designed the entire site around a deep black base with amber/gold accents and bold editorial typography a deliberate break from the generic light-blue IT agency template.

02

Services framed around outcomes, not deliverables

Rather than listing services, each service card leads with what it means for the client, automatically shifting from what LavaX does to what the client gains

03

Layered credibility from top to bottom

Client logos appear directly below the hero and also includes a featured project (Foodora) with concrete metrics. Testimonials from named clients with titles. Each section earns trust before asking for commitment.

04

Three-step process section to reduce sales friction

Discover → Build → Grow maps the client journey in plain terms, paired with real photography to make the process feel tangible.

The design had one job: to make LavaX look like the kind of agency that doesn't need to convince you. The work does that.
